Travel alone?!

Recently, Sharon took 2 days off after her last stop of Taitung Educational University and travelled alone by train. Besides when I asked JW if we are going to Japan with 2 kids next year, he answered me that he can not be sure if he can have the long off in HTC. So I am thinking this issue: travel alone by my-self. Woud it be possible? In this busy city, we usually can not find the common time to get together, let alone going out together. However, one old saying "To see is to believe" "讀萬卷書不如行萬里路", I believe deeply in travelling can really do something to our mind and body. So I have to consider more about travelling alone or just going out with 2 kids without the accompany of my husband.
